Obituary for Efrain Rios Figeroa Efrain Rios Figeroa, 88, of Lock Haven passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport. Born on April 6, 1930 in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Emeterio Rios and Paula Figeroa. He was employed in the metal casting industry in Irvington, New Jersey, retiring in 1997.
Efrain was united in marriage to Maria Huertas who survives. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Lock Haven. Efrain enjoyed raising chickens and roosters.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters: Norma Rios of Lock Haven, Yolanda Santiago of Newark, NJ, D’Shashowna Boykins of Newark, NJ and Maria Barnes of Carlisle; three brothers: Jose Antonio Rodriguez of Lock Haven, Ernesto Rios of Rockway, NJ and Arsenio Rios of Puerto Rico; a sister, Milagros Arce of Tannersville; a host of grandchildren as well as great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Freddie and Elijah Rios and two brothers, Anibal and Luis Angel Rios. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 1 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Pastor Anthony Crawford officiating.
Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 12 Noon until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 612 Frederick St., Flemington.
