Obituary for Sylvia L. McCloskey Sylvia L. McCloskey, 85, of Mill Hall passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at Susque View Home, Lock Haven. Born November 2, 1932 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late John and Beatrice Chapman Heck. Sylvia was a graduate of Mill Hall High School.

She celebrated 62 years of marriage with Thomas A. McCloskey, Sr. who preceded her in death on April 2, 2017. Earlier in her life, she was employed at Sylvania and then Champion Parts before devoting her life to caring for her family and home. Sylvia attended Mill Hall Church of Christ.

She enjoyed crocheting. Surviving is her son, Thomas McCloskey, Jr. of Mill Hall; a granddaughter, Amanda McCloskey; and a sister, Connie Fye of Vero Beach, Florida. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Heck and three sisters: Viola Geyer, Janice Kennedy and Shirley Fravel.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Rev. Alan Eckenroad officiating. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
