Obituary for Charles C. “Buck” Kramer Charles C. “Buck” Kramer, 89, of Beagle Road, Mill Hall, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at Haven Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Lock Haven. He was born in Salona on August 26, 1928, the son of the late John H. and Nora Mae Gates Kramer. On March 20, 1948, he married the former Betty L. Shade, whom preceded him in death on February 11, 2009.

Buck was employed at Piper Aircraft for 33 years until his retirement in 1984. In 1986, Buck received his GED – a proud accomplishment he quietly achieved on his own. He was a member of the Rote Church of Christ.

Buck’s passion was Bluegrass music. He loved attending music festivals and playing his instruments with his family and friends. He also enjoyed the outdoors – hunting in his earlier years and watching the birds at his feeder in more recent years.

Buck is survived by two daughters, Sandra S. (Beany) Fenush of Hawke Run and Debra K. Beam of Rote; a son, Charles L. “Lee” (Penny) Kramer of Lamar; a brother, Lloyd Kramer of Mackeyville; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert A. Kramer; a grandson, William Pusey, IV; and nine siblings, Max, Wilbur and Jay Kramer, Evelyn Barner, Betty Barlow, Mildred Shreckengast, Violet Walizer, Jesse Corman and William Kramer. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745 with Terry Burnell officiating.

Private burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 to 8p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
