Obituary for Charles Concer Donahay Jr. Charles Concer Donahay, Jr., 86, formerly of Flemington passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Susque View Home, Lock Haven. Born on August 26, 1931 in Lock Haven, he was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Cora Strouse Donahay, Sr He was married to Peggy Donahay who preceded him in death in 2011.

Charlie owned Donahay Painting, painting at numerous places and locations including Lock Haven University, the Courthouse, and the Elks before retiring in 2013. Together, he and his wife, Peggy, were former owners of the Country Tavern in Beech Creek. He was a member of the Lock Haven Elks, the NRA, and the Golden Dragon Judo Club.

Charlie was an avid hunter and enjoyed racing snowmobiles. Surviving are three daughters: Julie (Jason) Marconi of Flemington, Linda (James) Persun of Jersey Shore and Karen Neff (Mike Conway) of Castanea; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert Donahay; four sisters: Betty Brooks, Alene Weaver, Mary Nearhood, and Margaret Shields; and a brother, Stanley Donahay.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 1 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Interment will follow at Dunnstown Cemetery. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 Noon until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions in Charles’ name may be made to the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc. to assist with funeral expenses.
