Timothy Lero Wise , October 21, 1952 — June 10, 2018

Obituary for Timothy Wise Timothy Leroy Wise, 65, of Lewistown, passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Sunday June 10, 2018 at UPMC Altoona. Born October 21, 1952 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late, James C. and Dorothy M. (Hunt) Wise. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael Wise, and brother Steven Wise.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Sharon (Fetters) Wise whom he married on June 15, 1974. Also surviving are his children, Justin Wise and fiancé Priscilla Ceccoli of Williamsport, Jason Wise and fiancé Adriane Wolfgang, and Jenna Kepner and husband David all of Lewistown; Siblings, James “Jimmy” Wise and Nancy Wise, all of Huntingdon, Jeffrey Wise of Milton, and Sheila Wise and husband Robert Hill of Lewistown; and Grandchildren, Logan Wise, Levi Wise, Lilliyan Wise, Rylee Wise, Brian Albert, Kamden Vanzile, Lyam Wise, Luke Wise, Logan Schuler, Dyson Wise, Tylan Kepner, and Natalie Reicherd; and his loving dog, Chevy. Tim was a graduate of Chief Logan Highschool class of 1970.

Earlier in life, Tim started his life-long enjoyment of cars at F & M Motors at the age of fourteen as a car-detailer, and later at LASH motors, Frey motors and lastly at Beaver Motors all as a car salesman. Tim was a hard-working man who always put his family first. He loved to collect diecast toy cars, and Hess trucks.

He loved traveling to all of the local dirt tracks to watch sprint car racing with his friend Nelson Kratzer, but most of all, he enjoyed attending all of his grandchildren’s sporting events and activities. He also enjoyed family dinners at his home. A funeral service in loving memory of Tim will be held on Thursday June 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at The Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, with Rev.

Charles Eldredge officiating. There will be a time of visitation held at the funeral home on Wednesday June 13, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. Interment will take place in Maitland Church of the Brethren Cemetery. In lie of flowers, memorial contributions in Tim’s memory are respectfully encouraged to, Maitland Church of the Brethren, 315 Crossover Dr., Lewistown PA 17044.
