Troy A. Hardin, age 71, of Hot Springs, died Sunday, February 10, 2019. He was born on February 24, 1947, in Hot Springs, the son of William Herbert Hardin and Sarah Ann Allen Hardin. On August 6, 1965, he married Billy Porter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bobby Hardin; and one sister, Lois Robbins. Troy was a man who loved his family and feared God. He enjoyed being with and visiting people.

He loved to work in his yard and flower beds and spending time with his family and friends riding ATV’s, motorcycles and fishing. You could always find Troy with a cold Pepsi and orange cupcakes. He retired from Animite Pest Control Company after 50 years.

He is survived by his wife, Billy Hardin, of Hot Springs; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Troy E. and Lisa Hardin, Chad and Pamela Hardin and Taylor Hardin, all of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren, Josh Hardin, Gunner and Tamera Hardin, Ashley and Jason McGough, Tracker and Tabitha Hardin, Skie and Cameron Guyton, Courtney Ragsdale and Allen Ragsdale; ten great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Phillip Williams of Hot Springs; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends. A celebration of life will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 14, 2019 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs. Guest registry is at www.
