Tyler Vance Deveraux, 39, of Ogden, formerly of Orem passed away Monday, July 2, 2018. He was born in American Fork, Utah to Richard Van Deveraux and Toni Michele Deveraux on November 15, 1978. He attended schools in Orem and graduated from Orem High School in 1997.

He went on to graduate from UVU in 1999. He was a third generation lineman following his father and grandfather. All three were employed by Rocky Mountain Power.

He married Kaci Bird November 16, 1996 and together they had two sons. Tregan and Brant. They were later divorced.

He married his eternal companion, Markel Southam on March 12, 2011 in the Salt Lake Temple and added three beautiful daughters to complete his family. Tyler loved anything outdoors. Rock and ice climbing, hiking, caving, cycling, and skiing with his family.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. He especially loved serving with the youth. He is survived by his wife, Markel and children: Tregan and Brant Deveraux, Kyera, Kyrsten and Kyla Waldron (K1,K2,K3) He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard William Deveraux and cousin DJ Deveraux.

Graveside services will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Family and friends may attend a visitation from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
