Vanessa Victoria Adkins, 60, of Asheville, NC, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018, at her home. She was born on July 22, 1957 in Buncombe County to the late Harry D. and Billie Lundsford Adkins. Along with her parents, Vanessa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rex and Pearl Adkins and her aunt, Beatrice Bailey Wells.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Swannanoa. She is survived by her aunt, Beula Fraley of Paris, KY; her cousins, Beverly Ward of Fletcher, Alice Link of Lexington, Marilyn Pittman of Hendersonville, Eddie Bailey of Rutherfordton and Mark Diamond of Black Mountain; and many other family members. Vanessa will be greatly missed by her family.
