Verdell’s Obituary Verdell Oliver, 67, of Oswego, passed on May 29th at home. Born in Sanford Florida, he was the son of the late Carrie (Perkins) and Verdell Oliver Sr. Verdell was employed by Lakeview Carwash and worked at both the East and West Side locations. He loved socializing, enjoyed cooking out and was known for his great sense of humor.

Surviving are his daughter, Melissa Oliver of Maryland; two sisters, Lisa McMillan of Syracuse and Tina Oliver of Syracuse; four grandchildren, Anastasia, Angel, Marquell, and Lyonna Oliver; nephew, Levoy Davis; cousins, Lawrence Ricks and Kevin and Trudy Eudell; girlfriend, Pamela Rosenberger; step-children, Shirley Colon, Francisco Colon, Angel Colon, Andre Diaz, and Tina Diaz; and thirteen step-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at a day and time to be announced. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery.
