Victor C Jimenez Victor C. Jimenez, age 86 of Bridgeport, the widower of Lydia Jimenez, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 26, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, surrounded by the love and care of his family. Victor was born June 27, 1931 in Morovis, Puerto Rico, the beloved son of the late Reyes Jimenez & Flora Colón. Victor has been a Bridgeport resident since he was 25 years old.
He was a hard worker and loved staying active. Victor was a carpenter for many years. He took pride in his family never failed to provide them with everything they needed, and then some.
He will be missed deeply by all who had the honor of knowing him. Victor is survived by his: daughter, Carmen Diaz of Florida; son, Victor L. Jimenez of Terryville; daughter, Carmen Nieves of Stratford; son, Miguel Jimenez of Bridgeport; 2 brothers, Jose Jimenez of Hartford, Benito Jimenez of Puerto Rico; 3 grandchildren; Edgar Jimenez, Leslie Gomez, Denise Diaz; 4 great-grandchildren, Amaya Rios, Xavier Diaz, Jaden Carrington, E.J. Acevedo; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory. Friends may greet the family on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 11am-1pm at Community Funeral Chapels, 798 Park Ave.
