Victor D. Adams of Grand Blanc, Michigan January 17, 1963 – January 30, 2019 ADAMS, Mr. Victor D.-age 56, of Grand Blanc, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, February 6, 2019 with a 10:30am family hour at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel, 3021 S. Dort Hwy. , Flint, MI 48507.

Chaplain Don Bennett officiating. Family, friends and others whose lives Vic touched, please join us to reminisce and celebrate his life. Mr. Victor Darryl Adams was born January 17, 1963 in Flint, MI to Edward “Jack” Adams and Johnnie Mae (Kight) Adams.

He was a 1981 graduate of Grand Blanc High School. Vic worked as a DJ and manager in the local music scene and was affectionally known to his co-workers and friends as “Huggy Bear”. He pursued his passion for music until he became the full-time caregiver for both of his parents.

Vic truly lived his life to the fullest through numerous friendships, his love of music, good BBQ, photography and travel. He particularly enjoyed his travels to Hawaii, where he found peace. He later declared it his forever home.

Vic had a magnetic, contagious and fun personality. He loved to bring the joy of laughter to those around him. Vic is survived by his sister, Lori Adams; an uncle; numerous aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association via the website phassociation.org or via mail (Pulmonary Hypertension Association, 801 Roeder Road Ste. 1000, Silver Spring, MD 20910).
