Mrs. Victoria Hasty Taylor, age 66, of 2841 Ringgold Depot Road, Sutherlin, VA, died on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at SOVAH Health- Danville. Victoria was born on August 19, 1952, in Danville, VA, to the late Alfred Hasty and Dorothy McCann Hasty. She was disabled at the time of her death.

Mrs. Taylor attended Semora Baptist Church. Victoria never met a stranger. She was a beloved mama, grandma, and sister.

She loved to cook and being with family and friends. She loved cook outs, her TV shows, music, and she loved to dance. She fought a long, hard battle.

God took his angel home and now her smile and laughter will carry us on. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her daughters, Tammy Lynn Taylor of Sutherlin and Kelly Michelle Taylor of Danville. She is also survived by two grandchildren, James Devonte Taylor and Neece Michelle Taylor; one sister, Donna W. Cowan (Harvey) of Alton, Va; best friend, Doris Butts; and the love of her life, Joseph (Bro) Taylor.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step-father, Freddie Williamson; her brother, Douglas (Doug) Hasty; and her sister, Linda Lynn Hasty Thompson. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Barker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Duane Blevins officiating.

The family will receive friends at the residence at 2841 Ringgold Depot Road, Lot #51, Sutherlin, VA. 24594. “YOUR LIGHT WILL FOREVER SHINE, VICTORIA”.
