Virginia Louise Stanley January 11, 1928 – January 01, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Funeral services for Ms. Virginia Louise Dameron Stanley will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019, at New Faith Baptist Church in Coffeeville, AL, with Reverend Doug Price, Reverend Wilton Bennett, and Reverend Jesse Griffith officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Cooper Chapel Cemetery in Silas, AL.

Ms. Stanley, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at her residence in Coffeeville, AL surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Stanley was married to Wallace Winfred Stanley, a U.S. Navy veteran and resided in Silas, AL for many years before moving to Coffeeville in 2007. She enjoyed church work, flower gardening, reading, cooking and baking, and was devoted to her family.

She is survived by two sons, Keith Wallace Stanley, Sr. and Laurence Lee Stanley both of Coffeeville, AL; one daughter, Winifred Lynn Stanley James (Joel) of Coffeeville, AL; five grandchildren, Brian James (Melassand), Jason James (Candace), Jessica J. Graffia (Ryan), Heather Stokley, and Winnie Jean Martino; six grandchildren; and special niece, Jane Doyle Coleman of Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Winfred Stanley; parents, John Tyson Dameron and Artesia Friend Dameron; daughter, Cynthia Nadine Stanley; and grandson, Keith Wallace Stanley, Jr. Serving as pallbearers will be Roy Lindsey, Freddie Williams, Brian James, Jason James, Noa James, and Wayne Courtney. Honorary pallbearers include members of New Faith Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home, 6512 Grelot Rd. , Mobile, AL 36695.
