Virginia M. Nyhart (McKelvey), 92, formerly of Killbuck, was peacefully called home to be with her Lord and Savior after a recent decline in health. She was born on her family farm in Holmes County in 1925 to Earl H. and Elizabeth (Markley) McKelvey. She married Bernard W. Nyhart on June 7, 1947, and was blessed with an only child, Martin Nyhart, in 1960.

Ginny was a tremendous artist. She created and shared her unique fungus wood-burned etchings all around the world, for over 20 years.

She was an avid pen pal to many close friends and family her entire life. Ginny enjoyed life and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandkids, Dejah and Morgan, and great-grandkids, Nina and Orin. She was like a second mom to her nieces, Linda and Kay, and also to her daughter-in-law, Earlene.
