Wanda’s Obituary Wanda Baxter, 94, of Pampa passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 in Pampa. Celebration of life graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor at Briarwood Church, officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Wanda was born September 7, 1924 in Dane, Oklahoma to Dennis and Martha Moore. She was a sales clerk at Anthony’s and Bealls department store for 30 years, retiring in 2005.

During her retirement she enjoyed journaling, writing short stories and poems, gardening, painting, crocheting and reading her bible daily. Wanda loved when her children and grandchildren came to visit. She was a member of Briarwood Church.

Wanda was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers, and six sisters. She is survived by a son, Larry Mangus of Pampa; two daughters, Sharron Finney of Pampa and Deloris Landis of Bethany, Oklahoma; a brother, Willard Moore of Bethany, Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, Shelby Moore of Bethany, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Brent Finney of Flower Mound, Greg Finney of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Barry Finney and his wife Nancy of Pampa, Tony Miotke of Edmond, Oklahoma, Blake Mangus of Hereford, Carol Ferguson of Killeen, and Laurie Magus of Amarillo; 14 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Jessica, Brandi and Larry from Accolade Hospice.
