Obituary for Whitney Anne Beal Whitney Anne Beal, 43, of New Bern, NC, passed away at her home on October 1, 2018. She is survived by her mother, Kathleen Beal, of New Bern, NC, her brother and sister-in-law, Adam and Amanda Beal, and nephew, Jack, of Clinton, TN. She is also survived by her uncle and aunt, Dennis and Helen Bauer, of Suffolk, VA, step-mother, Debbie Beal, of Rogersville, TN, step-brothers Nathan Alford, of Oak Ridge, TN, and Jon Alford, of Camarillo, CA.

She is preceded in death by her loving father, Philip Beal, of Rogersville, TN. Whitney was a graduate of the University of Tennessee Knoxville and the University of North Carolina, and worked as a law librarian at Ward & Smith, PA. She was passionate about animals, her nephew Jack, and University of Tennessee football.

The family is conducting a private service, and a memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Cotten Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, it would be Whitney’s wish that all memorial gifts be made to the New Bern Salvation Army for Hurricane Florence recovery.
