Obituary for Doris Jane Woods Doris S. Woods, age 84, of Rogersville, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Hobart and Bobbie Shanks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Woods; sister, Evelyn Templeton; and brothers, Glenon Shanks, Paul Shanks, and Donald Shanks.

She was a lifetime member of the Hawkins County Crewettes, and Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren. Survivors include her loving sons, James Woods and wife Jamie, and Andy Woods and wife Sonja; grandchildren, Samuel and Anna Woods; sister, Mary Ann Delph; and brother, Lonnie Shanks. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 2, 2018, in Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Bradley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Hawkins County Crewettes and St. Judes’s Childrens Hospital.
