Obituary for Buster Christian Buster Christian, known to all as “Buck”, passed away suddenly at his home in Rogersville, Tennessee on Friday, November 9, 2018. He was 77. Buck was a retiree of AFG Glass Plant in Church Hill where he worked for 18 years.

Prior to that, he worked for many years as an iron worker for TecFab, as well as the TVA. He was a long time member of the Iron Workers Union. Always a loving father, Buck enjoyed gardening and building…from houses to garages and bird houses.

He loved fishing whenever he could, and spending time with his family and special friend, Shirley Gentry. Buck was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Gertie Christian; his son, Peter; as well as many brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, Stephen; daughters, Anita, Natasha, and Rachael; as well as eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Buck is also survived by his sister, Ollie; brother, Rick; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Bucks favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.

A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pat Hammonds officiating. The graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Highland Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.
