Obituary for Bessie Sue Reed Bessie Reed, age 70, of Rogersville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 28, 2018, from SIgnature Health Care of Rogersville. She was a daughter of the late East and Eula Biggs Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Burley Davis, Stanley Davis, and Jimmy Biggs.

Survivors include her loving husband, Timmon Reed; daughters, Loretta Reed and husband Michael, and Charlotte Robinson and husband Dennis; sisters, Phyllis Stapleton and husband Sammy, Ruth Davis, and Patsy Carr; grandchildren, “Little” Michael Reed, Matthew Reed, Natosha Reed, Megan Herron, Hayley Herron, and Hannah Crisp; great grandchildren, Chloe Hopkins, Riley Hopkins, Mason Reed, Zylan Reed, Kenneth Reed, and Natalie Reed. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Signature Health Care and special home health friends, Heather Carver, Deborah Hilton, and Wendy Collinsworth, for their love and care of Mrs. Reed. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 pm Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Friendly View Baptist Church in Rogersville.

The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Paul Nichols and Rev. Bob Simpson officiating.

The graveside service will be in Friendly View Baptist Church Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent at www. christiansells.com.
