Obituary for Nathan Christian Nathan Zaron Christian, 57, of Church Hill, TN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (11/7/18) following a courageous battle with cancer. Nathan, a lifelong resident of Hawkins County, TN was born on April 2, 1961. He attended Church Hill High School and was a retired construction worker.

Nathan was a member of Christian’s Bend First Baptist Church. Though his passing was sudden, Nathan’s life was not faint. His memory will always be with us.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carter and Dorothy Smith; paternal grandparents, Staples and Mabel Christian. He is survived by his parents, Louise Christian of Church Hill, Dwayne Christian (Phyllis) of Rogersville; daughter, Ashley Christian of Church Hill; son, Cody Christian of Rogersville; two special grandchildren, Ashtyn Welshimer and Alyssa Simpson, of Church Hill; three brothers, Paul Christian (Lorrie) of Surgoinsville, Richard Christian (Donna) of Rogersville, and Greg Christian (Kristy) of Church Hill; several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; special aunt, Wanda Gray; special uncle, Ronnie Smith; and special nephew, Seth Christian. A special thanks to Amedisys Hospice, Ashley, and Effie Moore.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Saturday (11/10/18) at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Fred Holcomb and Rev.

Larry Anderson officiating. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Sunday (11/11/18) at Christian’s Bend Cemetery, Church Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to help offset services.
