Obituary for David Shane Burton David Shane Burton, age 46, of Kingsport, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at his home. He was a son of the late Gene and Ruby Knox Burton. He attended Hillcrest Bible Mission Church in Kingsport.

He enjoyed watching football and baseball, and playing softball and golf. David was a loving dad and friend. Survivors include his loving daughter, Megan Burton; son, Eric Burton; grandchildren, Gabriel Burton, and Hayden Davis; brother, Gregory Burton.

Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 4, 2018, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev.

Jerry Manis and Rev. David Castle officiating. The graveside service will follow in Highland Cemetery.
