William “Jon” Cairns, age 30, of Woodville, OH passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center, Toledo OH. He was born on August 30, 1988 in Fremont, OH to William “Sean” and Diane (Wheeler) Cairns. Jon was a roofer with Freedom Roofing and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing, working on cars and dirt bikes.

Jon is survived by his dad: William “Sean” Cairns of Woodville, mom: Diane (Brian) Hammer of Gibsonburg, life companion: Rachel Rodriguez and their children: Brooklyn, Jonny & Gunner of Woodville, sisters: Brittany Teet of Genoa, Kristen Cairns of Freemont, grandmothers: Linda Cairns of Woodville, Patricia Wheeler of Gibsonburg and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers: William A. Cairns, David Wheeler and brother-in-law Daniel Teet. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 9 AM – Noon at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 201 W. Main Street, Woodville, OH where funeral services will be conducted immediately following visitation at Noon. Officiating will be Rev.

Kent Winkler. A bereavement luncheon in celebration of Jon’s life will be served at the Woodville United Methodist Church immediately following the funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the Donor’s Choice.
