William Curtis Locklear of Fairmont July 26, 1947 – March 2, 2019 William Curtis Locklear, age 71, of Fairmont, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, N.C. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 2pm at Reedy Branch Baptist Church with Revs. James Hunt and Hilton Woodell officiating. Burial will follow in Locklear Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Monday night, March 4, 2019 from 7-9pm at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont. Mr. Locklear was born July 26, 1947 in Durham, County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Welton Locklear, Sr. and Rosa McGirt Locklear; his siblings, Dorothy Clark, Wanda Susan Locklear, Clint Locklear, and Welton Locklear, Jr

He is survived by his wife, Mary Hunt of the home; one daughter, Pam Locklear (Donald Ray) of Fairmont; four sons, Terrance Hunt (Georgette) of Fairmont, Curt Hunt (Kay) of Fairmont, J.R. Locklear (Ashley) of Prospect and Joseph Morales of Red Springs; four brothers, H.G. Locklear and Ricky Locklear both of Fairmont, David McNeill of Lumberton and Bobby McNeill of Fayetteville; one sister, Lisa McNeil Daughenbaough of Garner, four special nephews, James Ray, Patrick Ray, Carey and Eric; sixteen grandchildren.
