Obituary for William Dale Hamilton HAMILTON, William Dale, 79, passed Thursday, November 15, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Euthelda Hamilton; and a brother, James Hamilton. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sand Hamilton; his brother, Charles Lamar Hamilton; children, Lisa Fischer (Paul), Lori Fryling (Jeff), Dee Hamilton (Tammy), and Dennis Hamilton (Tina); nephews, James Hamilton (Jan), Brandy Johnson, Chase Hamilton (Elayne), and Frances Hamilton.

He was known as PaPa to Andrew Fischer (Shaina), Alex McCullum (Kevan), Tyler Fryling, Dylan Fryling, Hannah Fryling, Dillan Hamilton (Jessica), Lauren Hickey (Jake), and Alexis Hamilton; step-grandchildren, Jenn Allen Meredith (Kyle) and Matthew Allen (Brittany); 6 great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Weller. Dale’s visitation will be Monday, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Drive. His funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Mt.

Carmel Church, 5505 New Cut Road, with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Following the burial, the family is hosting a luncheon at Woodhaven Country Club, 7200 Woodhaven Road, to celebrate Dale’s life, with stories, laughter, and a few tears. All are welcome to attend.
