William’s Obituary William Henry Cantrell, 78, of Burkburnett, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019. The family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Waurika Cemetery in Waurika, Oklahoma with Chaplain Joe Cook, officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett. William was born on June 27, 1940 in Seymour, Texas to the late Steve J. Cantrell and Eva E. Machen Cantrell. On April 6, 1962 he married Bertha “Jo” Sharp in Aberdeen, Maryland.

William served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era, and belonged to the AVA Lawton Walkers Club for 28 years. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Bertha “Jo” Cantrell; and two sons, Steve and James Cantrell. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Jo Hill of Burkburnett; two brothers, Floyd O. Cantrell and Jim Cantrell and wife Beverly all of Lawton, Oklahoma; a sister, Lucetta Pullins of Lawton, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Maska of Lawrence, Kansas, Steve Hill and wife Brandi of San Antonio, Shelby Harrell and husband Joshua of Holliday, and Darcy Hill of Burkburnett; two great-grandchildren, Alec and Renae; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
