William J. “Bill” Brown, 87, of Springfield, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 10, 2018. He was born on May 23, 1931 in Circleville, OH, to the late Watson and Eleanor (Kendall) Brown. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

He retired from International Harvester after thirty (30) years of employment. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, and mushroom hunting. Above all, Bill loved spending time with his family.

(Blake) Brown, daughters: Kathy Brown Jackson and Pamela Brown McCracken, granddaughter, Anna (Christian) Krutowskis, grandsons Jeremy (Megan) Jackson and Eddie (Arica) McCracken, and great-grandchildren: Ava, Matthew, Cole, Chloe, Milas, Lewis and Charlie. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Watson Jr., and sister, Ruth. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.

Friends may visit from 12:00-1:00 pm. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Ferncliff Cemetery.
