Marlea Sue Tatman, 69, of Woodstock, died Friday, May 4, 2018 at her residence after a lengthy illness surrounded by her loving family. A wonderful homemaker, Marlea enjoyed playing cards and bingo, going to yard sales and thrift stores and loved going dancing but her true passion was to be outside in the yard enjoying the flowers. Of the Baptist faith, her family was her pride and joy.

Born June 16, 1948 in Columbus, she was the daughter of the late Calvin C. and Alberta H. (Shurte) Knox. On June 15, 1973, she married Roy E. Tatman and he preceded her in death on April 19, 2000. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Annabelle Stokes, Rosie Fox, Mildred Knox, Marliyn Moore, Wanda Arthur and Linda Legge and her brothers, Tommy, Calvin, Jr. Billy, Jimmy, Johnny, Russell, Donald and Ronnie Knox.

Surviving are her children, Shannon Tatman of Woodstock, Shawnia (Stacy Hammond) Tatman of Woodstock, Sara Green, Tiffany Huff and Mike McConaughey of Lovell, WY; companion, Bubba Griffin; grandchildren, Tharon Hammond, Kyuss (Davina) Hammond and Erica Picklesimon; sister, Lea (Steve) Boyer of North Lewisburg; sisters-in-law, Mozelle Sands of Richwood, Eva Fraley and Nellie Tatman; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Ruth Tatman; an aunt, Cosette Collins and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Monday at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel where funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday. Reverend Wandell Toney will officiate and burial will follow at Union Township Cemetery in Milford Center.
