Jonda Gartin, 68, of South Charleston, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 26, 1949, in London, Ohio, the daughter of the late Paul and Zora (Crawford) Gartin. Jonda spent her life caring for her family and enjoying her friendships.

She loved children and was a nanny for years. Jonda is survived by her two sons: Dallas Wade (Monique) Durst of Lewis Center, and John Wesley Durst of Houston, Texas; three siblings: Kathy Gartin,… Read More » LaRae Rice, and Douglas Gartin; her “pride and joy” were her three grandchildren: Noah, Samuel and Phoebe; several nieces and nephews, special friend and guardian angel, Kathy Muncie and her two special boys: Michael and Matthew Chabbra. Jonda was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, June 22nd from 1-2:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Graveside services will follow the visitation beginning at 2:30 p.m. in the Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston.
