Lucille Marie Armstrong, 94, was born on July 19, 1923 in Springfield Ohio to William Armstrong and Annabelle (Minor) Armstrong. She went to be with the Lord on June 6, 2018 in Phoenix, AZ. She was a devout lover of Jesus Christ.

She was baptized at First Institutional Baptist Church in Phoenix, AZ in May 1983. Lucille worked for the Federal Government for 46 years of service. She is survived by her loving sister Winifred Ann (Clarence) Miller in Springfield, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by… Read More » her parents, and siblings William Armstrong Jr., Isabelle Armstrong, Charm Hull, Dorothea Samson, Robert Armstrong, her daughter Patricia Jones and son Cecil Jones Jr III. She is survived by her loving children Richard (Mary) Armstrong, Charme Rachael Wilkerson, both in Springfield, Ohio Cecilia(Sally) Applin, Wapakoneta, Ohio Judith Stewart, Marianne Jones, Berneda Jones, Vicky Jones, Rebecca Jones, and special granddaughter Joyce Wilkerson, all in Phoenix, Arizona. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, June 21st at 2:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Ferncliff Cemetery.
