Rosemary L. Asbury, 86, of East Liberty, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Mary Rutan Hospital. A 1950 graduate of Magnetic Springs High School, she tended the family farm alongside her husband. She also worked at the Raymond Library and at Producers Livestock.

In her free time, she enjoyed reading and sewing. Born June 19, 1932 in Peoria, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Crystal (Disbennett) Sarver. On November 3, 1956, she married her husband of nearly 53 years, Roy L. Asbury, Sr and he preceded her in death on September 14, 2009.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Russell Asbury; a daughter-in-law, Kim M. Asbury; a sister-in-law, Opal Asbury and brothers-in-law, Donald Asbury and Gerald Jolliff. She is survived by her sons, Roy (Kimberly R.) Asbury, Jr of Marysville, Rodney Asbury of East Liberty and Rex (Belinda) Asbury of Cable; grandchildren, Emily Asbury, Chad and Andy Clarridge and Jason Otto; sisters, Lela Jolliff of Richwood and Linda (John) Raile of East Liberty; brothers-n-law, Wayne (Freda) Asbury and Fred (Terry) Asbury both of Duquion, IL and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Monday at Wilson Funeral Home, Schnurrenberger Chapel 222 W. Center St. West Mansfield where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday.

Reverend Danny Grose will officiate and burial will follow at the East Liberty Cemetery next to her husband. Memorial contributions can be made to the Advent Christian Church in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
