FRANK FUGATE JR. , 84, of Springfield went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center with his beloved family by his side. He was born December 9, 1933 in Xenia, Ohio, the son of the late Frank Sr. and Lela (Houseman) Fugate.

Frank was a very caring and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He and his wife loved and cared for many children and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Survivors include two… Read More » daughters, Donna (Clay) Davidson and Debra Pritt; one son, Dennis (Theresa) Fugate; two brothers, Joseph (Shirley) and Wayne (Delores) Fugate; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and all the children they took care of and loved.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ruth Fugate of 55 years in March of 2009 and three sisters. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10-11 am in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with services starting at 11 am with Pastor Kymberly James officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
