NANCY ELAINE (KANTONEN) DUANE, 80, of Springfield, passed away peacefully at Oakwood Village on Thursday morning, September 13, 2018. She was born in Springfield on February 11, 1938, the daughter of the late Taito Almar and Frances (Sainio) Kantonen. Nancy and her husband, Victor, owned and operated Duane’s Answering Service for many years.

She is survived by her siblings, Mary Frances (John) Berger of Maumee, Ohio, Marty (Tom) Lentz of Gulfport, Florida and Bill (Jennifer) Kantonen of Asheville,… Read More » North Carolina and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Victor preceded her in death in 2006. A family service at the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18.
