Betty J. (Click) McDaniel, 91, of Springfield passed away Tuesday evening, October 23, 2018 at Pathways Center for Memory Care in the Springfield Masonic Community. After a 6-year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born September 1, 1927 in Springfield, the daughter of John and Lucille Click.

Survivors include her three daughters, Marsha Frank of Enon, Susan LaBonte Neiheisel (Jerry) of Cincinnati, and Lisa Scott (Phil) of Springfield;… Read More » one son, Robert R. McDaniel Jr. (Maggie) of Columbus; nine grandchildren, Tami, Heather, Christopher, Andrea, Lukas, Valerie, Melissa, Michael and Megan; 14 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Robert R. McDaniel Sr.; parents, John and Lucille Click; and one sister, Mary Lou McBlane. She graduated in 1946 from Springfield High School.

After many years of volunteering for the American Cancer Society she served as Executive Director of the Clark County Cancer Society for 12 years. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 from 12-2 p.m. at the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Betty’s funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dan Fiorini officiating.

Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Enon Church of God, 4800 Snider Road, Fairborn, Ohio 45324.
