RODNEY A. CLAGG, 61, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday morning, September 12, 2018, following a year of failing health. He was born in Springfield on October 13, 1956, the son of Charles Brady and Betty Jean (Frederick) Clagg Sr. Prior to his illness, Rod worked as a service writer for Werner Trucking. He loved playing softball, fishing, his classic Corvette, and especially attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

He is survived by his father, Brady Clagg of North… Read More » Hampton; four children, Jessica Clagg of Greenfield, Indiana, Travis Clagg of Bedford, Indiana, Nicole Errett of Springfield, and Brian Errett of Springfield; four grandchildren, Charleigh and Emerson Pridgen, Danielle Mershon, and McKinley Clagg; a special friend, Melody Perry; sister, Diane (Ralph) Reuber of Las Vegas, Nevada; brothers, Rob (Kim) Clagg of Springfield and Chuck (Sid) Clagg of North Hampton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Randy Clagg. Rod’s funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Alan Cain officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Vale Cemetery.
