Marion L. (McGhee) Cornell, 72, of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018. She was born on September 1, 1945, the daughter of the late Dexter and Gertrude (Boyd) McGhee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Cornell in 2017.

Marion is survived by her son, John (Lori) Cornell of Middletown, and her daughter, Sheila Cornell of Michigan; grandchildren: Sean (Krystal) Zischler, Mason Cornell, Mariah Steblek, Autumn Steblek (Luke Brainard), and Nathan Bucher; great grandsons: Theo… Read More » and Blake and great granddaughters: Ava and Emree; siblings: Betty Miller, Mona Pastorini, and Glenn McGhee and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Ronda McCain, and several brothers and sisters. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 6-8:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where a Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Rick Ives officiating.

Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
