ROBERT N. “BOB” ROBERTS, 75, of Springfield, passed away on Friday evening, June 1, 2018, following several years of failing health. He was born in Springfield on June 14, 1942, the son of the late Homer and Ethel (Snider) Roberts. Bob retired from Kelsey Hayes SPECO.

He was a devoted member of Maplewood Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia K. (Nokes) Roberts; five children, Steve (Cathy) Roberts of Springfield, Paul (Angela) Roberts of… Read More » Indianapolis, Ethel (Marvin) Levering of South Charleston, Carl Roberts of Springfield, and Cheryl Rigsbee of Springfield; five grandchildren, Matthew, Kyle, Shelby (TJ), Adame, and Misty; three great grandchildren, Keagan, Gaylord and Isaac; a sister, Martha Hoagland of Springfield; a brother, Dennis (Judy) Roberts of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Hoagland and a brother, Dale Roberts.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Bob’s funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastors Forrest Godin and Victoria Case officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
