CALVIN R THORNSBURY, 75, of Springfield, OH went home to the Lord, Thursday, July 19, 2018. He was born on July 3, 1943 in Jolo, WV, the son of Alexander and Louise (Rife) Thornsbury. He was devoted to the Lord, his family and his dogs.

He enjoyed Professional Football and Wrestling. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Kathy (Brumitt) Thornsbury, his children Calvin Richard (Dawn) Thornsbury II, Darrin Thornsbury, James (Michelle) Gordon and Laura (Darryl Gibson) Thornsbury. He is also survived… Read More » by his grandchildren, Tony (Molly), Chelcie and Dominic Thornsbury, Richard Brackin, Destiny Gordon, Savannah, Mackenzie and Gabe Gibson, as well as several great grand children.

He also leaves behind his brother Von, sisters Lily, Nell and Joann, many nieces and nephews and special friends Roger and Shirley Swank, Jeff and Cheri Cline, Mahendra and Sashi Narayan, and buddies Gary, John and Lloyd. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Clell, Will, Delford, Virgil and Jerry (Estil) and sister Flarie. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 26th,2018 from 12-1 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.

Funeral service will be at 1:00. Burial in Lawrenceville Cemetery.
