William J. “Bill” Drake, age 64, of Ravenna died peacefully Wednesday, April 25, 2018 after a short, courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 31, 1953 in Cleveland, OH to William and Mary (Dempsey) Drake. He was a truck driver for BET Trucking/Sagamore Co. for over 35 years.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years Ardi (Jacobs), children Samantha and Cody (Leah) Drake, granddaughter Macy and siblings Marie Pulcini and Dan (Cindy) Drake. He was a beloved uncle, son/brother-in-law and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Diane Woods.

Calling hours will be from 1 PM to 4 PM Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Monday, April 30, 2018 at the funeral home with Father William Kraynak officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
