Funeral services for William L. Thomsen, 49, of Norfolk will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Home for Funerals Chapel, 708 Georgia Ave, Norfolk. Burial will be in Stanton Cemetery, Stanton. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.

Home for Funerals, is in charge of arrangements. Bill died Tuesday, November 21, 2018 at his home. Bill was born February 16, 1969, to Larry and Ardyce (Woods) Thomsen.

He grew up in Norfolk and graduated from Norfolk High School in 1987. On September 9, 1995 Bill married Tina Woerdemann in Norfolk. Bill worked at Gerhold, Wispak, had his own business, Thomsen Services, and was currently working at GCX, doing general construction work.

Bill was active in the Boy Scouts. Bill is survived by his Wife Tina, two sons, Daniel and Matthew Thomsen both at home, his mother, Ardyce and Gerald Stanley of Dixon, a brother Tom Thomsen of Norfolk, 2 sisters Kim and Alan Hoehne of Stanton and Jennifer Patel of Iowa City, IA, and his grandmother Lydia Thomsen of Wayne. He was preceded in death by his father Larry.
