William W. Morris, 81, of Woodstock, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at his home. He was born February 1, 1937 in Chicago to Eugene Patrick and Ann Theresa (Whalen) Morris. He married Dolores LaBine on August 4, 1962 in Toledo, Ohio.

He was a veteran, serving in the Army Airborne, stationed at Ft. Bragg North Carolina. He owned and operated the X-Cel X-Ray company in Ridgefield for 42 years.

Bill will be remembered by his community for his values, honesty, and integrity. His excitement for life was fulfilled by travel with his wife and family, around our great country, and to his homeland of Ireland. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Woodstock, and served as a lector, and minister of hospitality for Sunday mass.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the NRA. He enjoyed motorcycles, traveling, civil war history, and was a great storyteller. Bill is survived by his wife, Dee Morris; sons, Thomas Kevin (Mary) Morris, Daniel Edward (Shelly) Morris; grandchildren, Matthew, Lucas, Madeline, Jack, Jake, Drew; two sisters, Sheila Williams, Kathleen Parker; and a brother, James R. Morris.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Robert Morris; and a brother, Robert Morris. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church 312 Lincoln Avenue, Woodstock from 1:00 pm until the Mass at 3:00 pm. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Woodstock.
