Obituary for Alice Faye Beach (Jones) Gaffney — Alice Faye Jones Beach, 62, of 409 Wilkinsville Highway Lot 2, passed away Friday, June 1st, 2018, at her home. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of James Jasper Beach Sr. and the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Bright Jones. Mrs. Beach formerly worked in textiles and was a member of Johnson Memorial Baptist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Beach are a son, James Jasper Beach Jr. and wife, Lisa, of Gaffney; two daughters, Stacie Beach and Sandy Beach, both of Gaffney; one step-daughter, Tammy Renee Loyd of Gaffney; one brother, Bennie Joe Whisonant and wife, Mary, of Gaffney; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Beach was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Willie Gibbie, and a grandson, Michael James Hickerson. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 5th, 2018, from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 6th, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel with Pastor Joey Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
