Alice’s Obituary Alice F. Gay, 77, formerly of Bushkill, died early Tuesday morning, May 21, 2019, surrounded by her family and loving staff at Grace Park in Stroudsburg, where she was a resident for the past seven months. She was the widow of Bennett R. Gay who died March 1, 2009. Born on May 4, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Evelyn (Olson) Tweed.

Prior to retirement, she worked as a credit analyst for 3M. Alice was an active member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Dingmans Ferry. Surviving are two children, Kelly Zaso and husband Joseph Sr. of Stroud Township and Kevin Gay and wife Nancy Richards of Hemlock Farms; three grandchildren, Joseph Zaso, Jr., Stephanie Zaso and Adriana Zaso; a sister, Ann DeJohn of Great River, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Viewing hours will be from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM on Thursday, May 23, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. There will be a funeral service at 3:00PM on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Niels Nielsen officiating.

Private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, it was Alice’s wish that memorial remembrances be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 103 Delaware Crest Drive, Dingmans Ferry, PA 18328.
