Victor’s Obituary Victor M. Demiancyz, 90, of Saylorsburg, fell asleep in the Lord on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Slatebelt Nursing Home in Washington Township. He was born in East Paterson, NJ on April 17, 1929 to Peter and Mary (Glowadska) Demiancyz, the second youngest of their 10 children. He served his country as a member of the US Army during the Korean War.

He married Anna (Jubinsky), June 11, 1955 and they had two children, Debra and Alan. He was a loyal member of IUEC, Local 1 until retirement and a devoted member of Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Church in Stroudsburg since he moved to the Poconos in the mid-1990’s. Victor was predeceased by his parents and all his siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; his children, Debra Souilliard of Granville, OH, and Alan Demianycz of Budd Lake, NJ; his grandchildren, Ann-Katherine Johnson, Pamela Cornetto, Vikkie Mastroberte, Samantha Sabo, Steven Demiancyz, and John Demiancyz; and 11 great-grandchildren. The viewing will be from 6:00 to 8:00PM on Thursday, May 23, at Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Church, 1501 Trinity Court, Stroudsburg. The funeral service will begin at 10:00AM on Friday, May 24, at the church with Very Rev.

Fr. Nicholas J. Solak III officiating. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Church in memory of Victor.
