Andrew “Andy” Lloyd Schrader, 50, of Lost Creek passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, under the compassionate care of Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. He was born on February 5, 1968 in Clarksburg a son of Bruce Peyton Schrader of Petersburg, WV, and the late Nancy Lee Kidd Schrader. After attending school with Melinda Johnson they became neighbors.

Life separated them but destiny brought them back together and on August 7, 2015, they married and she will miss him dearly. In addition to his wife and father, Andy is survived by one brother, Tim Schrader and wife, Lisa, of Petersburg, WV; two sisters, Pam Haun and husband, Tom, of Huntington, WV, and Gwen Weiler of Washington, D.C.; and one step daughter Isabela Meadowns of Fairmont, WV. Andy graduated from Lewis County High School in 1988.

He worked for Thrasher as a land surveyor for over 20 years. Andy enjoyed cooking, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and was an avid fisherman. He also loved to play guitar and sing.

Andy’s request for cremation has been honored. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from the Pat Boyle Funeral Home Chapel.
