Linda Carol Nosse, 71, of Bridgeport, WV ascended to Heaven on October 10, 2018 in Morgantown while surrounded by her loving family. Her parents, June Edward and Emma Louise Boggess Roberts, welcomed her into the world on April 1, 1947 and have now been reunited with her in Heaven. Linda will be sorely missed by those who loved her most, one daughter, Cynthia Smith and husband, Jimmy, of Lost Creek; one son Danial Nosse of Grafton; one brother, Roger Roberts of Crandall, TX; two grandchildren: Christian and Brendon Smith both of Lost Creek; and her grandpup Sparky.

After graduating from Parkersburg High School she began her higher education at Glenville State College then obtained a teaching degree from Fairmont State College. Her education culminated when Linda earned her Masters Degree from West Virginia University. Linda had a love of reading and books that she determinedly turned into her career.

She shared this passion with young students as the librarian of Morgan and Nutter Fort Elementary Schools before moving on to being the librarian and a Math teacher at South Harrison High School. Linda was a Christian by faith who loved God, her family, friends and was crazy about animals. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting and puppy sitting for friends.

Friends are invited to gather with the family at Pat Boyle Funeral Home located at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018. The graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 1934 Dupont Road, Parkersburg, WV with Pastor Eric Kendall.
