Martha Pauline Hall, 99, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the comfort of her own home surrounded by loving family. She was born in Petersburg, WV on September 8, 1919, a daughter of the late Claude and Elizabeth Bland Harman. She married John Strange Hall on November 11, 1939 and has greatly missed him since his passing.

Martha’s generous, loving and kind nature will be carried on by three children: John Charles Hall, Betty Clevenger and husband, Gary, and Terry Hall all of Baltimore, MD; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; three siblings: Alice Courtney of Pawtucket, RI, Lynn Harman and wife, Dorothy, and Hope George and husband, Harold, both of Mayesville, WV. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by three children: Linda Marie Edwards, Janet Diane Isbell, and Leeland Dale Hall. Martha dedicated her life to her family and home.

She enjoyed playing the fiddle, piano and guitar. You could see her love of music by watching her sing and play. Family and friends will gather at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service located at 144 Hackers Creek Rd.

in Jane Lew from 4-7 p.m. pm Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday from the Pat Boyle Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating. Interment will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery in Walkersville.
