Anne Hobbs, age 55, of Old Fort, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at her home in Old Fort following several years of declining health. A native of Concord, CA, Anne was born on June 18, 1963 to the late Peter Fisher and Jacqueline Tillman of Decatur, AL. She was a registered nurse specializing in dialysis treatment with the DaVita Asheville Dialysis Center before having to retire due to illness.

Anne lived life to the fullest, a perfect example of a devoted mother and loyal friend to many. She loved horses, the beauty of the natural world and she was a terrific gardener. Left to cherish the memories of their life together are her devoted husband of 25 years, M. Lowell Hobbs, and their two beautiful children, Johnathan Lowell Hobbs and Nichole Anne Hobbs.

A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Mountain View Church in Black Mountain. 2221 N Fork-Right Fork Rd. Black Mountain, NC 28711.

Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the Nicaraguan Mission Trip. Make checks payable to Mountain View Church, marked Nicaraguan Mission Trip.
