Monday, January 7, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church with Daniel Litchford, pastor and Chaplain Mike Tompkins, Faith Hospice officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Anthony Hagen, age 68, of Lawton, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 in Lawton with his family by his side. He was born in Elizabethtown, Kentucky on October 23, 1950 to Juanita and Andrew Hagen. Tony grew up in Lawton and graduated from Eisenhower High School.

He attended Cameron University and Great Plains Area Vo Tech. He married Nanette Chestnut on November 7, 1969 in Lawton. They spent their married life in Lawton.

Tony was an automobile mechanic and was ASE certified in air conditioning and transmissions. He was considered by many to be the best transmission man in town. In 2016 he gained the honor of being the AAA Crossing Guard of the year for the State of Oklahoma.

He had a reputation for being honest. Tony enjoyed traveling and would go with his family on long road trips. He further traveled by going on cruises.

On June 30, 1985 Tony was ordained a deacon at Jefferson Baptist Church. Currently Tony is a member and deacon at Calvary Baptist Church. He has held many offices such as Chairman of the Deacons, Sunday School Director, Training Union Director, Sunday School Teacher and member of the choir.

Tony is survived by his wife Nanette, of the home, children, Tony, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Jennifer Hagen-Bass and husband Zack, Brent Hagen and wife Kathellena and Harry Chestnut, grandchildren, Alexis Lawson and husband Blake, Hagen Bass, Randi Bass, T.J. Benson, Presley Benson and Molly Hagen, great granddaughter, Luna Lawson, mother-in-law, Nan Chestnut, sister-in-law, Harriet Lugo and husband James Hargrove, three sisters, Pat Decker and husband Fred, Carla Smith and Linda Meacham and two brothers, Michael Gallagher and James Gallagher. Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie Gallagher, Robert Meacham, Denise Ankeny and Edward Chestnut.
