Anthony’s Obituary Steve A. Begnaud, 74, died Sunday, February 17, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Mary Begnaud; Daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Steve Scherer; Daughter, Amanda Begnaud; Son and daughter-in-law, Mike Begnaud and Patricia White; Son, Terry Begnaud; Four grandchildren, Katy Scherer, Sadie Snelling, Steven Scherer, and Victoria Freese; and his great granddaughter, Ava Grace Waguespack. Steve was born on May 26, 1944 in Lafayette, Louisiana.

He married his wife Mary in 1966 and have been together for 53 years. They welcomed four beautiful children into the world. Steve worked at Zim’s Alignment as a frame straightener for 35+ years and was known as “The Frame Man”.

He enjoyed sitting on the patio with his coffee and cigarettes while watching his beloved cats play in the yard. He liked hunting, fishing, four wheeler riding, his old time westerns, and cooking for the family. He made the best potato salad and crawfish etoufee.

Steve adored his grandchildren and his recent great grandchild who he loved playing with and watching her grow. He had such a unique and quirky personality and definitely left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be dearly missed.
