Rene’s Obituary Rene Allen Begnuad was born on March 27, 1955 to the late Lloyd P. Begnaud and Mable “Lovie” L. Begnaud in Lafayette, Louisiana. He passed away at his home in Carencro, Louisiana on February 3, 2019. He leaves behind his loving fiance Cindy Breaux of Carencro, Louisiana; sons David (Amanda) Begnaud of McHenry, Mississippi, Chris (Donna) Begnaud of Warner Robbins, Georgia and Patrick Begnaud of Mansfield, Ohio; daughters Lauren Begnaud of Lexington, South Carolina and Linda Begnaud of Gonzales, Louisiana.

Rene is also survived by his brother Patrick (Gerry) Begnaud of Abbeville, Louisiana and his sister Linda (Mike) Begnaud-Townsend of Spring, Texas. Grandchildren: Sterling, Rachel, Cameron, Jonathan, Brooklyn, Dustin, Brandon and numerous other relatives and friends. Rene is preceded in death by his father Lloyd P. Begnaud, and his mother Mable L. Begnaud; his sister Renella Wellborn.

Rene loved life and lived his to the fullest. He loved cooking, fishing, working on boats and helping others. He always had a story to tell and a smile on his face.

A Memorial Service will be held to celebrate his life at 1459 Herman Dupuis Rd. , Butte LaRose, LA 70517 on Saturday, February 9, 2019.
